Deciding whether to use a financial adviser is a big decision

The number of UK adults that could benefit from the help of a financial adviser, but who don’t currently receive advice has surpassed a staggering 13m as of 2022. This being despite further research showing that over 90% of those people that paid for advice reporting that they found it beneficial.

Surveys on those people that don’t work with a financial adviser showed that nearly half of respondents either don’t know what an adviser does or doesn’t think they can afford an adviser.

So, what does an adviser do, and how can you pay for one?

An advisers’ role in helping their clients is multi-faceted, from;

Helping them get on the property ladder to simplifying and consolidating their holdings and increasing their long-term investment returns

Helping navigate the UK’s often complicated tax system and ensuring people are making use of all their available tax allowances Through to also making sure you and your family are protected, giving you peace of mind of knowing that you’re on the right path both up to and into retirement, and putting the right plans in place to help money pass from one generation to the next.
